Career Month at SDSU Georgia

SDSU Georgia Career Services Department is hosting Career Month from February 15 to March 15. During this time, a variety of activities will be taking place to help students gain interview skills and connect with companies. The SDSU Georgia Career Services Department aims to ensure that all students have access to the resources they need in order to become effective applicants and employees.

As part of our Career Month activities, Career Services will be organizing workshops on developing effective CVs and cover letters, leveraging online tools like LinkedIn, and how to interview with confidence, among other important employment skills. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the application and hiring process at our HR Panel.

SDSU Georgia has partnered with industry leaders in Computer and Civil/Construction Engineering, Chemistry, and Computer Science to offer job opportunities to current students. During our Open Door Industry Meetings, students and industry representatives will be able to come together and discuss organizational culture, ask questions, and sign up for one-on-one meetings.

For students who are interested in pursuing further education, Career Month will include sessions on preparing for graduate school, the application process, and the differences between starting your career or heading straight to graduate school.
