On February 19, 2020 Head of BP Georgia Ann Davies met with SDSU Georgia students as part of the ongoing Guest Lecture Series. She discussed her experience and activities at BP and the importance of the natural sciences and engineering, as well as hosting a Q&A. The event was attended by Magda Magradze, Executive Director of the Millennium Foundation.

Ann Davies has been directing BP Georgia's activities since summer 2019, including the Baku-Supsa and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipelines and the operation of the South Caucasus Gas Pipeline. By profession, Ann Davies has over 15 years of experience in the energy sector. She has worked on major engineering projects in Azerbaijan, Scotland, Norway and Canada. Ann holds a master's degree in physics from Oxford University and is actively involved in the promotion of natural sciences and engineering.
